独特の雰囲気を持った空間として県内外にファンも多い「KD JAPON」。もともとは、とある画家のアトリエとしてスタートしたというこの場所。当時、前オーナーが病に伏してから、様々な人たちにより支えられ、存続できたのだそう。多くの人々の想いが詰まった元アトリエであるこの空間は、現在では国内外のアーティストたちから愛される場所へ。音楽ライブだけでなく、演劇や映画上映などにも使用されている。常設のステージがないため、客席との距離感はほぼゼロで、文字通りフラットに演目が楽しめる1階と、ゆったりと眺められる中2階席もあり。時おり、天井上のJR線を通過する電車による轟音と、やさしい味わいのココナッツカレーが名物。

As an unique venue "KD JAPON" maintains reputations and has many fans. When it used to be as an atelier, the previous owner faced going out of business due to he fell ill. Thanks to some everyone's support, it has been kept open. This is a place not only full of memories for people but also that is loved by national and international artists. And now remains one of Nagoya's most important venues for live music,the theater and move screenings, particularly of the more experimental variety. On the ground floor audiences are able to see performers up close because there isn't a permanent stage. In other hand, on the first floor you can sit down on comfortable seats. You'll be enjoy “Mild flavor of coconut curry” while listening to sounds of the train sometimes passing through the JR line on the ceiling.
